Eligibility
How can I join the community?
The only criterion is abiding by community principles and beholding community values
Get involved, participate actively, & share love!
Community Principles
Putting founders first, giving before you take, and having an intense love of place are essential values in a startup community.
Entrepreneurs MUST Lead
Entrepreneurs must be the center of the community because they have lived the journey with its pains and rewards
Startup communities can not controlled
No one is in the position of controlling the community, in fact, no one even has the capability of doing so. Everyone is a contributor, no one is a controller
Networks of trust, not hierarchies
There is no room for structured hierarchy, instead, social capital and informal norms that help resources flow among members based on good faith, commitment, and stewardship
Inclusive for anyone who wants to participate
The community welcomes any entrepreneur regardless of their background, race, ethnicity, or gender but only if they respect the community values and principles
Openness, support, and collaboration
The community welcomes any entrepreneur regardless of their background, race, ethnicity, or gender but only if they respect the community values and principles
Main purpose: to help entrepreneurs succeed
If entrepreneurs aren’t succeeding, there is no point of a startup community
